About Kasu

We believe the best investments shouldn't require the best connections

Private credit has delivered consistent, double-digit returns for institutional investors for decades. Access has been gated behind minimum investments, accreditation requirements, and relationship networks. We built Kasu to change that.

Today, Kasu is a private credit platform that connects everyday people to the same kinds of vetted business lending opportunities that banks and institutions have profited from — with full transparency, institutional-grade diligence, and a commitment to making finance genuinely accessible.

Our Belief
"Financial opportunity should not be determined by wealth, connections, or geography. The same returns available to institutions should be available to everyone."
From a simple observation to a new model
Kasu began with a straightforward observation: banks lend deposits to businesses at double-digit rates and pay depositors 2%. Private credit funds deliver exceptional risk-adjusted returns but only accept institutional capital. The spread between what your money earns and what you get paid is the largest silent wealth transfer in modern finance.
We asked: what if you could access the bank's side of the equation? What if the barriers — minimum investments, accreditation requirements, geographic restrictions — simply didn't exist?
Building the answer required a new kind of infrastructure. Not just a DeFi protocol. Not just a lending platform. A hybrid capital model that pairs institutional senior debt with a global pool of accessible capital, validated by the same diligence processes that major credit funds rely on. One where the technology enables access but the returns come from real businesses repaying real loans.
That's what Kasu is. And after 12 months of live operation — $12M+ in loans originated, $650K+ in interest earned, and zero capital losses — we're just getting started.
